For the past week, I feel like I am a pin cushion being pricked with needles every so often. Each day I inject myself with 4 shots of my fertility medications. And every 3rd day, it totals 6 injections a day counting the blood and egg monitoring tests in the hospital. I am physically bruised, struck and scarred all over.
These are the needles I use every day.
This is the right side of my belly. Smiley, obviously, can't smile.
The right side of my thigh. Smiley managed to take on different reactions.
This is my right arm which was dripping in blood this morning after a series of blood tests.
I must admit the whole process is a little painful. But I am excited and hopeful for the promise of a little precious angel coming along the way.

Baby dust!! BABY DUST!! Wish you all the best with that little angel! *hugsss!!!!* How long do you have to keep that up for??!

Just be more patient with your medications. True they may be painful and cumbersome but that's the price you have to pay to have your dream baby. Just focus more on positive and pleasant things to reduce the irritability caused by them. Thanks for the post. God bless you always my friend.

Hi Bingkee, You sound a little sad. You are always so full of energy - as they always say "this to shall pass" and then you will have a new addition to your family. You have become my online friend and your husband seems like a really great guy. It will all work out! Hang in there. Scott

Oh Scott, I'm not sad per se. My smileys are sad because it hurts. I'm actually excited.

Wow that is a lot of shots but like crissy said. In the end it will all be worth it when you look into their eyes. That moment will melt away all the pain you went through.

I'm so sorry you have to go through all of this. I know being stabbed with needles repeatedly is no fun, neither is the hormonal upheaval your body's going through due to all of the injections. I've got you in my prayers, that everything will work out well for you.

I really hate needles. Let me tell you. I am a big wuss around needles. I could not imagine taking shots every day. I hope there comes a day when you can stop taking them.
